Automotive Engine Repairs

1.Targets:

This course explores automotive engines in depth, introducing automotive repair market analysis, automotive construction theory, safety regulations, hand/power tools, the evolution of engine systems, engine classification and characteristics, principles of various engines, engine disassembly, maintenance and repairs.

2.Description:

The Engine Maintenance and Repair Program at Canada Automotive Industry College (CAIC) offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the skills needed for careers in automotive maintenance and repair. This program spans essential topics, from automotive basics and safety to advanced diagnostics and auto shop business management, providing students with both technical knowledge and industry best practices.

3.Course duration:

Course duration:  Each Level has 18 hours of online classes and 18 hours of on-site practices at CAIC. Level 1-4 take place within 12 weeks.

Theory lessons: twice a week (Tue, Wed, 7 pm- 10 pm)

In-lab lessons: twice a week (depending on students' schedules)
