1.Targets:
This course explores automotive transmissions in depth, introducing automotive repair market analysis, automotive construction theory, safety regulations, hand/power tools, the evolution of transmission systems, transmission classification and characteristics, principles of various transmissions, transmission disassembly, maintenance and repair.
2.Description:
Students will master the technical knowledge and practical skills required for transmission diagnosis, repair and optimization of modern vehicle transmission systems. The course covers: manual transmission gear ratios, synchronizers and shift mechanism basics; automatic transmission torque converters, planetary gear sets and hydraulic control systems; DCT, ECVT hybrid transmissions, EV transmission mechanisms and other popular knowledge.
3.Course duration:
Course duration: Each Level has 18 hours of online classes and 18 hours of on-site practices at CAIC. Level 1-4 take place within 12 weeks.
Theory lessons: twice a week (usually 7 pm- 10 pm）
In-lab lessons: twice a week (depending on the student's schedule）
